Job summary

Rivet Operations Company LLC is seeking a Safety Manager to lead occupational safety programs in the Washington DC area, supporting Navy contracts. The role advises leadership, coordinates with program teams, and ensures compliance with OSHA, DoD, client policies, and applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate will develop training, conduct inspections and incident investigations, maintain records, and drive a proactive safety culture across all operations, facilities, and project sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field; experience may substitute where permitted.
• At least 3 years of safety experience in industry or government contracts.
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and training.
• Conduct inspections, hazard analyses, risk assessments, and audits.
• Investigate incidents and identify root causes with preventive actions.
• Coordinate with Navy, regulators, and project teams on safety requirements.
• Maintain safety records, reports, and regulatory logs.
