Job summary

Feyen Zylstra, LLC is seeking a Safety Manager in Charlotte, NC to lead safety initiatives and protect workers across our electrical and low-voltage projects. You will educate teams, build programs, and collaborate with project leaders to ensure adherence to standards.

The role demands 5+ years in construction or industrial safety, OSHA 10 with OSHA 30 preferred, and strong leadership, communication, and bilingual (English/Spanish) abilities. Travel to regional sites is required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Construction or Industrial Safety, with exposure to electrical hazards.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field preferred; trades licensure a plus.
OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 preferred; certifications (CSP/ASP/CHST) a plus.
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations; proficient in MS Office and safety software.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

Educate and reinforce safety culture and standards across teams and projects.
Collaborate with project leaders, field leaders, and workers to drive safety outcomes.
Build, maintain, and improve safety programs, policies, and practices.
Ensure adherence to safety standards and track metrics for continuous improvement.
Provide 24/7 on-call safety support for emergencies or incidents; travel to regional sites.
