Job summary

E. C. Korneffel Co. in Trenton, MI is seeking a Safety Manager to lead the company-wide safety program, ensuring MIOSHA/OSHA compliance and a strong safety culture.

You will conduct jobsite inspections, partner with field teams, develop site-specific safety and emergency plans, manage documentation and training, and support estimating with safety requirements.

About the Role

The Safety Manager will lead and continuously improve the company-wide safety program, ensuring compliance with MIOSHA, OSHA, and applicable regulations while promoting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead safety program development and continuous improvement
• Conduct jobsite inspections and audits
• Partner with field teams to promote safe practices
• Maintain safety documentation and SDS/MSDS

• Develop site-specific safety and emergency plans
• Support estimating and bidding with safety requirements

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Walking and standing on uneven terrain
• Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally

Schedule

• Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Occasional Saturdays
