Job summary

Oshkosh Defense, an Oshkosh Company, is seeking a senior Safety leader in Wisconsin to oversee the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of safety programs at the business segment level.

You will drive loss prevention, provide guidance on health and safety program deployment, assess risks and create guidelines for roles, training and rewards, and ensure compliance with OSHA, state and local regulations across locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Science, Industrial Hygiene, or related field.
• 5+ years safety management experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain safety programs at the business segment level.
• Assess and improve current loss prevention programs.
• Provide direction regarding implementation and maintenance of all health and safety related programs.
• Assist Management with development, implementation and enforcement of a management accountability program.
• Evaluate risks and develop guidelines for roles, training, measurements and rewards for the management system for employee safety.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, federal, state and local guidelines regarding health and safety programs.
• Responsible for the management of contract security personnel at both locations.

Minimum Qualifications

Pay Range

$82,900.00 - $134,300.00

The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including the scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate's experience, education and skills, as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
