Sheakley is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to lead field safety for HVAC and mechanical construction on a long-term project in Franklin Furnace, OH. The role is a 12-18 month 1099 contract with a start date to be determined.

You will work closely with project management, field supervision, and craft personnel to maintain a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA compliance, and support safe work execution across all activities.

Formación

• OSHA 30
• Mechanical construction experience
• Construction safety management experience

Responsabilidades

• Provide day-to-day field safety oversight for HVAC and mechanical construction activities
• Work directly with project management, superintendents, foremen, and craft personnel to support safe work execution
• Conduct routine field safety observations and identify unsafe conditions or work practices
• Support pre-task planning, job hazard analysis, and daily safety activities
• Monitor mechanical installation activities, equipment setting, material handling, and elevated work
• Support compliance with site safety requirements and applicable OSHA requirements
• Participate in safety meetings and toolbox talks
• Assist with incident reporting, documentation, and corrective-action follow-up
• Maintain safety documentation and records required for project activities
• Reinforce safe work practices while maintaining a visible presence in active work areas

Location: Franklin Furnace, OH

Duration: 12-18 Months | Immediate Start

Type: 1099 Contractor

Pay Rate: $55/hr Travel | $58/hr Local

Per Diem: $125 Daily

Completion Bonus: $150/month

Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule: 58 Hours Per Week | Monday-Saturday | Day Shift

Additional Hours: Saturday work may be required based on project needs

Required Qualifications

• OSHA 30
• Mechanical construction experience
• Construction safety management experience

Preferred Qualifications

• HVAC/mechanical construction safety experience
• Experience supporting mechanical equipment installation and material handling activities
• Experience overseeing elevated work and other high‑risk construction activities
• CHST preferred
