An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Safety Leader to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across Port Wilmington. This role involves implementing safety policies, conducting training, and leading investigations into incidents. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Occupational Health and Safety or Engineering, alongside relevant certifications. MAJOR FUNCTIONS
This position is responsible for field safety leadership across Port Wilmington and supports the Mid-Atlantic Safety Director in the implementation and management of the HSE program.

MINIMUM PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Educational Background: 4-year degree preferred in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or related field.
Technical Qualifications / Certifications: OSHA certifications preferred. Must obtain and maintain TWIC credentials within 90 days of hire. Valid driver’s license required. Proficient in MS Office applications and capable of learning new software.
Related Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the maritime industry, with union labor management experience preferred.
