Job summary

Sheakley is seeking a Safety Manager in New Albany, OH for a 1-year contract starting ASAP. You’ll lead site safety across drywall, framing and carpentry with hands-on oversight from day one.

The role requires OSHA 510, 5+ years of construction safety experience, First Aid/CPR current, and ability to secure buy-in from every trade lead. Schedule is Mon-Fri, 6:00–14:30, 40 hours weekly on a 1099 contract.

This isn't a short-term fill-in. It's a full year of steady work on an active build, and we need a Safety Manager who can hold the line on drywall, framing, and carpentry scopes from day one without a learning curve.

New Albany, OH

Start: ASAP

Duration: 1 year (long-term, stable assignment)

$50-$53/hr (1099 contract)

Mon-Fri, 0600-1430, 40 hrs/week

Per diem: not available

THE PROJECT

Active construction site running drywall, framing, and carpentry trades. Fast pace, multiple crews, zero tolerance for shortcuts.
