Job summary

Cava Electric LLC is seeking a Safety Manager to lead OSHA-compliant safety programs across multiple projects in Texas. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and managing accident prevention strategies, training, and documentation to protect workers and maintain project compliance.

You will oversee site safety personnel, conduct audits, investigations, and root-cause analyses, and coordinate with stakeholders to improve performance while upholding company safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of OSHA rules and industry standards.
  • Experience in electrical, industrial, and construction environments.
  • Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
  • Proven track record in safety program development and implementation.

Job description

Our safety team is seeking a detail-oriented Safety Manager to work within an assigned region to proactively improve performance and support Cava Electric’s Safety Management Program. This role is critical for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive accident prevention and safety programs across company projects.

Duties
  • Lead safety policies and procedures while maintaining compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations
  • Manage all aspects of safety and health at multiple project sites to ensure contractual regulatory compliance
  • Oversee safety and health personnel supporting field construction projects
  • Carry out regular safety audits including internal, external, client, and certification related
  • Provide advice, guidance, and direction to site safety personnel on safety and health issues and work practices
  • Design and conduct on-site training for project specific safety and health subjects
  • Perform on-site accident and incident investigations, develop written reports, determine root cause, collect evidence, and maintain documentation for carrier claim inquiries
  • Manage near misses, property damage, environmental incidents, and accidents, and implement corrective measures
  • Maintain a document management system tracking training certifications, recertification timelines, and training status
  • Preserve accurate data while upholding company confidentiality practices
