Voluntary Protection Programs Participants' Association, Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee field technicians and shop operations across multiple sites.

You will conduct field and facility safety audits, support incident investigations, deliver safety training, and ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations. Successful candidates will pass background, MVR, and drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of full-time experience in Environmental Health & Safety.
• Experience supporting multi-site or field service operations.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and general industry safety regulations.
• Ability to work in outdoor environments (hot and cold).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel daily.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field and shop safety audits to evaluate work practices, processes, and equipment.
• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions to protect employees, customers, and property.
• Deliver safety training including new hire orientation, toolbox talks, and specialized topics.
• Assist with incident investigations and implement preventative actions.
• Support injury case management and emergency response as needed.
• Maintain the SDS program across field service locations.
• Provide EHS data for customer audits and reporting needs.
• Assist with drug and alcohol program administration.
• Contribute to policy updates and EHS meetings.
• Travel regularly to field locations and work outdoors in varying conditions.
