Job summary

Velocity Flex is seeking an HSE Manager to lead the health, safety, and environmental program across the service territory. The role partners with field technicians to improve safety through coaching, presence, and hands-on support rather than paperwork.

The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, field-oriented, and comfortable traveling across a multi-state territory. You will conduct regular site visits, deliver practical safety training, manage ISNetworld/Avetta accounts, and sustain OSHA

Qualifications

• 3+ years HSE experience in construction, industrial, or field services trades.
• Direct experience with ISNetworld and/or Avetta.
• Ability to build credibility with field technicians.
• Working knowledge of OSHA standards.
• Willingness to travel independently and flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Build trust with technicians via regular site visits, ride-alongs, and on-the-spot coaching focused on problem solving.
• Partner with operations to address safety issues and encourage hazard/near-miss reporting.
• Travel monthly across the territory to observe conditions and support site-specific requirements.
• Own and maintain ISNetworld and Avetta accounts, including documentation, scores, insurance, training records, and renewals.
• Deliver practical safety training (fall protection, LOTO, confined space, electrical, and trade-specific hazards).
• Investigate incidents/near-misses and drive practical corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA 300/300A logs, certifications, PPE compliance, and organized records.

The HSE Manager will build trust through regular site visits and open communication. The ideal candidate is relationship-driven, field-oriented, and comfortable traveling regularly across a multi‑state territory.

Key Responsibilities

• Build trust with technicians via regular site visits, ride‑along­s, and in‑the‑moment coaching focused on problem‑solving
• Partner with operations to address safety issues and encourage hazard/near‑miss reporting
• Travel monthly across the territory (East Texas, Louisiana, and beyond) to observe conditions and support site‑specific requirements
• Own and maintain ISNetworld and Avetta accounts, including documentation, scores, insurance, training records, and renewals
• Deliver practical safety training (fall protection, LOTO, confined space, electrical, and trade‑specific hazards)
• Investigate incidents/near‑mises and drive practical corrective actions
• Maintain OSHA 300/300A logs, certifications, PPE compliance, and organized records
