Job summary

Lithko Contracting, LLC is seeking an On-site EHS Specialist for our Atlanta project. This role leads safety on site, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and reporting to meet Lithko’s safety goals.

Key responsibilities include providing safety support to craft teams, reviewing site activities for safe practices and PPE usage, and completing all required safety documentation for the shift and project phase.

Qualifications

• Must have bachelor's degree in safety or equivalent.
• CHST or CSP preferred; OSHA 30 required.
• 1+ year of field safety experience on construction sites.
• Experience leading safety programs on heavy/civil projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provides safety support to Craft in engagement on site.
• Reviews site activities to promote safe practices and PPE usage.
• Completes safety documentation for shift and phase of work.

The Role

Lithko Contracting is seeking an On-site EHS Specialist for our Atlanta. The On-site Safety Specialist is responsible for all safety related needs on a project. This role reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures. This Safety Specialist works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to ensure Lithko is meeting and exceeding the safety program goals while completing the necessary reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides safety and support to Craft in DPP and OAT engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage.
• Completes all necessary internal and external safety related documentation and paperwork as it relates to their shift and phase of work.

Requirements & Preferences

• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• CHST Certification (strong preference)
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification
• Can lift heavy materials and move equipment throughout a jobsite or equipment/materials yard.
• Willing to work odd hours (3rd shift) and overtime when needed.
