Job summary

Lithko Contracting in Atlanta seeks an On-site EHS Specialist to lead safety on a project, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and reporting.

The role works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to meet and exceed safety program goals while completing necessary reporting. Required credentials include CHST/STS-C/CSP or OSHA 30 plus a Bachelor’s in Safety and related experience.

Must be able to walk the jobsite, work odd hours (3rd shift) and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety plus 1 year of experience OR STS-C/CHST/CSP and 3 years OR 5 years safety experience plus OSHA 30.
• Must be able to walk a jobsite and move equipment/tools.
• Willing to work odd hours (3rd shift) and overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provides safety support to Craft in DPP and OAT engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site to promote safe practices and PPE usage.
• Completes safety documentation and reporting for the shift/phase.

The Role

Lithko Contracting is seeking an On-site EHS Specialist for our Atlanta. The On-site Safety Specialist is responsible for all safety related needs on a project. This role reviews and engages team members onsite, ensuring proper preparedness and execution of safety protocols and procedures. This Safety Specialist works with the client and the Territory Safety Lead to ensure Lithko is meeting and exceeding the safety program goals while completing the necessary reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides safety and support to Craft in DPP and OAT engagement.
• Reviews all work activities on site during their shift to promote safe work practices and appropriate PPE usage.
• Completes all necessary internal and external safety related documentation and paperwork as it relates to their shift and phase of work.

Requirements & Preferences

• Capable of walking and traversing a jobsite at all hours.
• CHST Certification (strong preference)
• Holds OSHA 30 Certification
• Can lift heavy materials and move equipment throughout a jobsite or equipment/materials yard.
• Willing to work odd hours (3rd shift) and overtime when needed.
