Job summary

Corevia Search seeks a Safety Manager for a hyperscale data center project in Indiana, onsite only. You will own day-to-day safety operations, lead JHAs/JSAs, perform site inspections, and drive compliance with OSHA and client standards on a fast-paced construction site.

With 7+ years in construction safety, especially on data center projects, you will mentor crews, manage high-risk activities like crane work and electrical, and foster a proactive safety culture with hands-on field leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction safety experience.
• Safety management experience on data center projects (essential).
• GC/EPC or major contractor experience preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification (OSHA 500 trainer preferred).
• Hands-on leadership: lead from the field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day safety operations and the Health & Safety Plan.
• Perform site inspections, audits and observations with corrective actions.
• Lead JHAs/JSAs, pre-task planning, toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Manage high-risk activities including electrical, cranes and rigging, lifting, excavation, fall protection, confined spaces, hot work, LOTO.
• Conduct incident investigations and implement root-cause fixes.
• Ensure OSHA and client compliance and drive a proactive field-driven safety culture.

Safety Manager – Hyperscale Data Center | Indiana, US (Onsite) | Up to $180,000 + Per Diem

Cranes, steel erection, live electrical work and dozens of subcontractors, all running at once on an aggressive schedule. A hyperscale site is one of the toughest environments in construction, and the Safety Manager sets the standard for everyone on it.

A well-established, mid-sized General Contractor is hiring a Safety Manager to own safety on a major hyperscale project in Indiana. You’ll have real authority and high visibility, with no layers of management diluting your impact.

What you’ll own

• Day-to-day safety operations and the project Health & Safety Plan
• Site inspections, audits and observations, with corrective actions closed out
• JHAs/JSAs, pre-task planning, toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Oversight of high-risk work, including electrical, cranes and rigging, steel, excavation, fall protection, confined space, hot work and LOTO
• Incident investigations and root-cause fixes
• OSHA and client compliance, safety metrics and a proactive, field-driven culture
