LaSalle Network is seeking a Safety Manager for our Hoffman Estates, IL location to build and implement safety processes on data center and critical infrastructure projects. You will work directly with contractors and field crews to establish site plans, train teams, and enforce safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in construction safety, OSHA 1926 knowledge, and OSHA 30 (with OSHA 500 or CHST a plus). Onsite work with a fast-growing team offers hands-on impact and career growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as a Safety Manager in construction.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926.
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 or CHST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce site-specific safety plans for construction and data center projects.
• Work directly with contractors and field teams to implement safety processes.
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and audits.
• Identify hazards and ensure corrections happen before incidents occur.
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations and training.
• Own procedures around lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, fall protection and confined space.
• Investigate incidents and near misses, documenting root cause and corrective actions.
• Serve as the point person for OSHA compliance, client safety requirements and third-party audits.
• Maintain safety documentation, certifications and training records.

LaSalle Network is partnering with a fast-growing electrical construction company to hire a Safety Manager for their Hoffman Estates, IL location, supporting data center and critical infrastructure projects. This is a great opportunity for a construction safety professional who wants to build and implement safety processes — not just enforce them — in a fast-paced, high-growth environment working directly alongside contractors and field crews.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and enforce site-specific safety plans for construction and data center projects
• Work directly with contractors and field teams to implement safety processes
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections and audits
• Identify hazards and ensure corrections happen before incidents occur
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations and training
• Own procedures around lockout/tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, fall protection and confined space
• Investigate incidents and near misses, documenting root cause and corrective actions
• Serve as the point person for OSHA compliance, client safety requirements and third-party audits
• Maintain safety documentation, certifications and training records
• Handle new-hire safety and compliance processes
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents on pre-task planning and project safety

What's Needed?

• 3+ years of experience as a Safety Manager in construction
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA 1926
• OSHA 30 required; OSHA 500 or CHST preferred
• Data center, electrical construction or critical infrastructure experience a plus
• NFPA 70E / arc-flash knowledge valuable
• High-voltage, switchgear or critical-infrastructure experience a plus
• Highly organized with the ability to manage safety documentation across multiple platforms
• Strong communicator comfortable working directly with contractors, subs and field crews
• Confident, resilient personality — able to hold contractors accountable and enforce safety standards
