Job summary

Meridian Waste in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Safety Manager to implement and coordinate business unit safety programs in line with DOT and OSHA requirements.

You will develop district plans, monitor compliance, train field management, oversee safety training, analyze risks, and serve as liaison with the insurer while supporting the annual safety budget and corporate committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher plus 4 years of relevant work experience.
• Three years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge in DOT and OSHA safety rules and regulations; good communication and leadership skills.
