Position Overview

The Safety Manager plays a key leadership role in driving and reinforcing DELCO’s safety culture across all job sites. This individual is responsible for ensuring compliance while proactively identifying risks, influencing behaviors, and partnering with field leadership to embed safety into daily operations. This role goes beyond enforcement—serving as a trusted advisor and visible leader in the field, focused on prevention, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of company-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including OSHA, DOT, and applicable project-specific requirements
• Serve as a field-facing leader, partnering with Project Managers, Superintendents, and subcontractors to drive safe work practices
• Conduct regular jobsite inspections, audits, and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing proactive solutions
• Lead and support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning
• Track, maintain, and communicate safety metrics, reports, and documentation in a timely and effective manner
• Provide guidance and recommendations to leadership on safety risks, trends, and opportunities for improvement
• Assist in the development and delivery of safety training programs, reinforcing expectations and best practices
• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure consistent execution and accountability across job sites
• Contribute to the ongoing evolution and strengthening of DELCO’s safety culture and programs

Qualifications & Experience

• OSHA 30 Construction preferred
