Position Summary

The Safety Manager position requires 8+ years of experience in a Project Safety position or similar role. The Safety Manager plans, coordinates, and executes safety responsibilities as specified in project safety plans and the Barton Malow safety manual. The Safety Manager is experienced with developing, implementing, and monitoring objectives, procedures, and metrics related to the organization's strategic safety goals. This role involves leading and managing a cross-functional and cross-regional safety team and performing duties independently. The Safety Manager must be a flexible team player with strong organization, communication, leadership, and client service skills. Supported by executive leadership, this position champions the Company safety program. The primary function is to coordinate and manage all project safety responsibilities, effectively implementing, executing, maintaining, and documenting safety efforts across projects of any size or scope.
