Job summary

Automatic Data Processing, Inc. seeks a Safety Manager to lead programs ensuring a safe workplace across agricultural, manufacturing, and retail sites in Nebraska. You will partner with leadership and frontline staff to drive regulatory compliance, prevent accidents, and maintain standard safety processes.

You will build OSHA-compliant programs, conduct hazard analyses and investigations, manage logs, and coordinate audits while delivering training and engaging teams in safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or related field or equivalent experience.
• 3-5+ years of combined experience in safety management.
• Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance standards.
• Proven track record in audits, inspections, and employee training.
• Experience supporting multi-site environments (agricultural, manufacturing, or retail).

Key Responsibilities

Safety & OSHA Compliance

• Build and maintain OSHA-compliant safety programs across all sites.
• Perform job hazard analyses, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Maintain OSHA logs, injury reporting, and required documentation.
• Serve as the main contact for regulatory safety inspections.

Training & Engagement

• Deliver safety and quality training for onboarding, role certifications, and annual refreshers.
• Coach leaders and frontline teams on compliance standards and workplace best practices.
• Encourage employee participation in safety and quality programs.

Audits, Claims & Metrics

• Manage workers' compensation claims and return-to-work efforts.
• Track key performance metrics, including audit completion rates and safety analytics.
• Coordinate internal and external compliance audits.

Teamwork & Operations

• Partner with facility managers to resolve operational risks efficiently.
• Clearly communicate workplace safety standards across all sites.
• Prepare metric reports and action plans for executive leadership.
