Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Professional to support field operations across Pampa, Abilene, and the Wichita Falls area for a water infrastructure and utility solutions company. You will serve as the lead onsite safety resource, ensuring projects are executed safely and in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and customer-specific requirements.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead onsite safety programs and ensure compliance with company and customer safety requirements.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and safety observations.

• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety training.
• Collaborate with project teams to promote proactive safety culture.

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Safety Professional to support field operations and project sites across Pampa, Abilene, and the Wichita Falls area for a rapidly growing water infrastructure and utility solutions company. This individual will serve as the lead onsite safety resource, ensuring projects are executed safely and in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and customer-specific requirements. The role involves leading safety initiatives across industrial, utility, construction, and oil & gas project environments, conducting inspections and incident investigations, delivering training, and partnering with project teams to foster a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate brings strong field safety leadership experience, professional safety certifications, and the ability to support multiple active projects in remote locations while driving continuous improvement across safety programs and performance.

Qualifications:

• CSP (Certified Safety Professional), ASP (Associate Safety Professional), GSP (Graduate Safety Practitioner), or CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician) certification required


• Strong safety leadership experience within industrial, construction, oil & gas, utilities, infrastructure, or similar field environments


• Experience developing, implementing, and managing site-specific safety programs


• Willingness and ability to work onsite at remote project locations

Day-to-Day:

• Lead onsite safety programs and ensure compliance with company, customer, and regulatory safety requirements


• Conduct routine site inspections, audits, hazard assessments, and safety observations across active project sites


• Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective and preventative actions


• Deliver safety orientations, training sessions, toolbox talks, and ongoing safety education programs


• Partner with project managers, contractors, field personnel, and leadership teams to promote a proactive safety culture


• Monitor, track, and report key safety metrics, trends, and performance indicators


• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and project-specific safety standards throughout all phases of work


• Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to enhance safety processes, procedures, and field execution practices
