Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Safety Management Development Associate as part of our Management Development Associate program. You’ll gain experience implementing risk assessment processes, delivering safety training, and shaping factory safety improvements across functions.

The full-time role features a rotating assignment across Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites in the U.S. with relocation assistance, a comprehensive rewards package, and clear paths to leadership as you learn

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or expected by June 2027 in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or related field.
• Open to relocation to any of 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S.
• Prior internship, co-op, practicum or manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and utilize assessment and risk prediction processes to identify, communicate, and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Make recommendations for safety improvements throughout the factory.
• Provide effective safety training including safety orientation for new hires and contractors.
• Organize, coordinate, and conduct training for the factory safety committee.
• Model and enforce compliance with internal and external safety regulations and procedures.
• Serve as a resource to all factory employees, delivering exceptional customer service.

As aSafetyManagement Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, we will coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. Together, we’ll explore quality assurance, supply chain, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand how each of these areas collaborate with safety. You’lllearn quickly that safety is our number one priority and we want our associatesto gohome the same way they came in.Throughout your time in our MDA program, you will gainexperienceinimplementing risk assessment processes, making safety improvement recommendations, and delivering comprehensive safetytrainingsto new hires and contractors.

• Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program
• You will start your rotation for this Safety MDA at one of the following Nestlé Purina factories: Crete, Nebraska; Clinton, Iowa; or Davenport, Iowa

The starting pay for this position is $80,000 per year. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package, which includes a 401k with Company match, healthcarecoverageand a broad range of other benefits.
