Job summary

Nestlé Purina North America is seeking a Management Development Associate in the Safety track. The role accelerates leadership through a full-time program with cross-functional exposure in quality assurance, supply chain, engineering, HR, production, R&D, IS, and operations performance.

You’ll implement risk assessment processes, deliver safety training, and rotate across sites to gain broad experience. Entering the MDA program positions you on a fast track to management in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or related discipline.
• Open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S.
• Willing to participate in a multi-site rotation starting at Crete, Clinton, or Davenport, IA.

Responsibilities

• Implement and evaluate safety risks and mitigation strategies.
• Provide safety training to new hires and contractors.
• Organize and participate in factory safety committee training sessions.
• Model and enforce compliance with internal and external safety regulations.
• Serve as a resource to factory employees with excellent safety-focused service.
• Rotate through Nestlé Purina sites as part of the Management Development Associate program.

As aSafetyManagement Development Associate at Nestlé Purina, we will coach you from the start, shaping your career trajectory for continuous learning and growth. Together, we’ll explore quality assurance, supply chain, engineering, human resources, production, R&D engineering, information systems, and operations performance to understand how each of these areas collaborate with safety. You’lllearn quickly that safety is our number one priority and we want our associatesto gohome the same way they came in. Throughout your time in our MDA program, you will gainexperienceinimplementing risk assessment processes, making safety improvement recommendations, and delivering comprehensive safetytrainingsto new hires and contractors.

• Implement andutilizeassessment and risk prediction processes to ensure effective identification, communication, and mitigation of workplace hazards
• Make recommendations for safety improvements throughout the factory
• Provide effective safety training that includes safety orientation programs for new hires and contractors
• Organize, coordinate, and conduct training for the factory safety committee
• Model and enforce compliance of internally and externally mandated safety regulations and procedures
• Serve as a resource to all factory employees, providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health or related disciplineattainedor expected by June2027
• Must be open to relocation to any of our 24 Nestlé Purina manufacturing sites across the U.S. as you progress through the MDA program
• You will start your rotation for this Safety MDA at one of the following Nestlé Purina factories: Crete, Nebraska; Clinton, Iowa; or Davenport, Iowa

The starting pay for this position is $80,000 per year. Please note that the pay provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.
