Chart Industries in McCarran, NV, is seeking a Safety & Maintenance Tech II to uphold safety standards and perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting across plant equipment. The role includes risk analysis, root-cause investigations, and training coordination.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, 5+ years in electrical maintenance, and experience with PLC-based controls. A strong safety mindset and ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment are essential.

Formación

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Trade or Technical schooling a plus.
• 5+ years electrical maintenance experience preferred.
• 2+ years in Preventive Maintenance.
• 2+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems preferred.
• Safety policies and NFPA/Osha awareness required.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure Safety policy compliance and perform safety inspections plant-wide.
• Conduct risk analysis on equipment and processes.
• Perform root cause analysis on near misses or injuries.
• Coordinate training on safety procedures and Chart’s processes.
• Perform mechanical maintenance and electrical troubleshooting on plant equipment.
• Maintain accurate inspection/test documentation per ISO and Chart requirements.
• Operate gauges and measurement devices as needed.
• Complete daily maintenance paperwork for work requests and checklists.
• Assist with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment.
