Job summary
Chart Industries is seeking a Safety & Maintenance Tech II to uphold safety standards and perform electrical maintenance across our production facilities in McCarran, NV. You will conduct inspections, execute preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLC-driven controls, and document all activities to meet Chart and ISO requirements.
The role involves hands-on maintenance, tool use, and collaboration with a team to keep equipment operating safely.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; trade/technical training preferred.
- 5+ years electrical maintenance experience with preventative maintenance.
- Experience troubleshooting PLC-based control systems and electrical issues.
- Knowledge of OSHA and NFPA regulations is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work safely in a plant.
Responsibilities
- Conduct safety inspections across the plant with minimal supervision.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical and control systems and implement countermeasures.
- Document inspections and tests per Chart requirements and ISO standards.
- Assist with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations.
- Maintain safety training and documentation for staff and procedures.
- Audit processes for compliance with ISO 45001/9001/14001.
