Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Safety Manager for a growing 3PL organization to lead environmental, health, and safety initiatives in a fast-paced warehouse and distribution environment.

This role partners with operations leadership to promote a culture of safety, ensure regulatory compliance, reduce incidents, and implement proactive safety programs. The ideal candidate has OSHA expertise and CSP/ASP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or related field.
• 5+ years of safety leadership in warehouse/logistics/3PL.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and risk management practices.
• Experience with incident investigations and audits.
• Proven ability to implement proactive safety programs.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and training skills.
• CSP/ASP or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage safety policies across warehouse operations.
• Partner with operations to foster a safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and local regulations.
• Develop fleet safety programs meeting DOT/FMCSA standards.
• Monitor driver qualification files and MVRs.
• Conduct facility safety audits and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Track safety metrics and provide reporting.
• Deliver safety training for staff and management.
• Coordinate with HR on return-to-work and accommodations.
• Oversee emergency response planning.
