Irvine Company is seeking a Safety Manager to oversee safety programs and cultivate a culture of safety across the assigned California region. You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and on-site operations teams to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.

The role requires ASP/CSP certifications and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 5+ years in safety leadership. On-site work, strong regulatory knowledge, and policy development are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• ASP and/or CSP certification preferred.
• 5+ years of relevant safety management experience in property/real estate operations.

Responsabilités

• Oversee safety programs across the assigned region.
• Monitor training compliance and coordinate safety training.
• Develop proactive safety processes, tools and metrics.
• Lead risk mitigation tools and procedures including JSA and monthly safety meetings.
• Conduct on-site safety investigations and inspections.
• Perform site safety walks and discuss safety concerns with site teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Capital Projects and Development Design to resolve hazards.
• Provide technical safety guidance and stay current with OSHA, NFPA and related regulations.
• Support Fire and Life Safety Systems inspections.
