Job summary

Cook Solutions Group in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced Safety Manager to design, implement, and drive a comprehensive safety program across the organization. You will lead the Safety Committee, own safety initiatives, and partner with operations to foster accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities include driver safety via GPS/telematics, incident investigations, and ensuring OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field.
• 3–5+ years of experience in safety management, preferably in field service, construction, logistics, or technical services.
• Experience with GPS/telematics platforms (e.g., Geotab, Samsara, Verizon Connect).

Responsibilities

• Lead safety strategy, policies, and procedures across the company.
• Oversee Safety Committee, set agendas, drive actions, and report outcomes.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and incident investigations with root-cause analysis.
• Ensure OSHA, DOT, state and local regulatory compliance.
• Develop and present safety metrics, trends, and action plans.
