Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Florence, KY, seeks a Health & Safety Manager to own the safety program for a 24/7 high-energy server chassis assembly facility, including lockout/tagout, electrical and machine guarding, and robotics safety as operations scale.

You will lead regulatory compliance, incident investigations, contractor safety coordination, and safety training across shifts while collaborating with operations, automation engineering, and corporate safety teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of root cause analysis and process design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field, and 7+ years in occupational safety, risk management, or equivalent.
• Experience managing safety programs in manufacturing, industrial, or high-hazard environments.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day safety operations at an advanced assembly site, including program execution and risk governance.
• Lead incident investigations using structured root cause analysis methodologies and ensure timely closure.
• Provide safety input for automation acceptance, new equipment commissioning, and process changes; evaluate risk for automated lines and robotics.
• Serve as the primary interface with regulatory agencies (OSHA, fire marshal, local authorities) and manage inspections and contractor safety coordination.
