Job summary

Wright Tree Service is seeking a Safety Supervisor to lead safety programs across field crews in North Carolina. This full-time exempt role reports to the Senior Safety Lead/Safety Manager and requires overseeing compliance with OSHA and company policies, conducting audits, and coordinating training.

The ideal candidate will bring at least five years of experience in tree-trimming safety, strong communication skills, and the ability to respond effectively to emergencies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in tree-trimming safety supervision.
• Proven leadership under stressful situations.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and safety trainings.
• Ability to perform safety inspections and incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Wright Tree Service and OSHA policies.
• Conduct frequent safety inspections of work sites.
• Review and evaluate incidents and provide corrective actions.
• Provide safety trainings including job briefings and tailgates.
• Maintain safety records and certifications.
• Lead stand-downs and tailgate trainings as applicable.
• Investigate accident reports and participate in claims resolution.
• Communicate safety updates to crews and management.
