Job summary

Mobile Staff Solutions is seeking a hands-on Safety Supervisor for a full-time role in Tampa, FL. The position focuses on creating a safer work environment across the production plant, yard, and maintenance areas, with direct involvement in training and safety program development.

The role requires identifying hazards, conducting investigations, and coordinating corrective actions while maintaining records and supporting regulatory inspections.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in safety, construction, manufacturing, or supervisory roles preferred.
• Working knowledge of OSHA workplace safety requirements.
• Ability to recognize hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Comfortable in an active precast concrete manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular safety inspections across production, maintenance, yard, and work areas.
• Identify unsafe conditions/ behaviors and coordinate corrective actions with supervisors.
• Coach employees on PPE, machine guarding, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
• Lead new-hire safety orientations and safety trainings.
• Maintain training records and assist with updating training materials.
• Develop and maintain JSAs, JHAs, and safe-work procedures.
• Assist with incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Support OSHA compliance and safety programs.
