Marten Transport is seeking a Safety Lane Inspector to perform timely quality inspections on the tractor and trailer fleet, ensuring compliance with Marten policy, procedures, and DOT regulations.
You will identify DOT issues, CSA violations, and maintain fleet standards during yard checks at each terminal while coaching shop and driving staff. This role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing long hours, and working in varied climates.

Must possess mechanical skills and aptitude for the position. Must be able to exhibit skills and knowledge through company pre-employment exam. Must be able to read and write English language and have some computer skills.
Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and be able to stand for long hours. Must be able to work various shifts and days. Must be able to work in all types of climates including extreme hot and cold.
Wage: $22-$34 per hour
