Job summary

McGraw Kokosing is seeking a Safety Education Trainer to develop, deliver, and continually improve safety training across projects. The role covers onboarding, program management, and the creation of educational materials to support site teams in maintaining a high standard of safety performance.

Responsibilities include evaluating training effectiveness, coordinating with Safety leadership, and delivering content on-site or online, using multimedia tools and MS Office Suite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 3–10+ years of experience with safety and health in the construction industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new team members with site safety orientation, including drug testing and data collection.
• Develop and deliver safety training content in person, online, or blended formats.
• Create manuals, guides, presentations, talks, and handouts aligned with company safety practices.
• Measure learning outcomes and gather feedback to improve training.
• Maintain training documentation, attendance, evaluations, and certifications.
• Deliver on-site safety training and online learning.
• Incorporate risk mitigation into training programs and materials.
• Collaborate with safety leadership and operations to tailor content for projects.
• Leverage multimedia and MS Office tools to enhance learning communications.
