Job summary

Williams is seeking a Safety & Health Specialist III to lead and implement safety and health standards, training programs, and incident investigations. The role requires knowledge of OSHA regulations, Process Safety Management, and performance-driven safety improvements.

Travel up to 50% may be required. The candidate will collaborate with operations, develop procedures, and mentor teams to foster a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 4+ years in safety or a safety-related role.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or professional safety certification is preferred (CIH/ASP/CSP/CCPS).
• Willing to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Ensures procedures are in place to achieve process and occupational safety management objectives.
• Collaborates with operations and project teams on safe work planning and execution.
• Develops and reviews processes, standards and procedures.
• Coordinates with support groups to ensure Process Safety Information is available and compliant.
• Coaches peers on OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Facilitates incident investigations and hazard/near-miss closeout actions.
• Leads process safety reviews, audits, and emergency action planning input.
• Trains and mentors on safety matters and regulatory updates.
