Job summary

Howard Shockey & Sons, Inc. is seeking a Safety and Health Program Lead to implement the company’s safety program across projects. You will conduct new employee safety orientations, coordinate training, and track retraining to ensure ongoing compliance.

You will participate in project audits, safety committee meetings, and pre-job safety planning with project managers. A Bachelor’s degree and OHST/CHST certification plus CPR/First Aid are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
• OHST or CHST certification and CPR First Aid Instructor preferred.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new employee safety orientation for Shockey employees.
• Provide feedback on improvements to the Safety program from project visits and assessments.
• Participate in department and Safety Committee meetings to discuss improvements.
