Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) has an exciting opportunity for Safety and Health Manager, supporting Air Force Test Operations, at White Sands near Alamogordo, New Mexico. The Safety and Health Manager serves as the primary safety professional for the National Radar Test Facility (NRTF) at White Sands Missile Range, NM.

This role is responsible for establishing, monitoring, and executing occupational health and safety programs to protect personnel, protect government property, and ensure 100%

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety/health, environmental science, construction management, engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years in safety/health, with 5+ in management.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain security clearance and operate government vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, evaluate, and issue environmental and high-hazard permits (confined space, fall protection, energized work, hot work).
• Investigate accidents and near-misses; perform root-cause analysis and report findings.
• Coordinate and deliver occupational safety training for operations personnel.
• Develop and update site safety standards aligning with OSHA/ANSI/CDC/BCSP/ASME.
