Job summary

Barriere Construction Co. LLC is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety, health, and environmental programs across projects in the Gulf South. You will plan audits, deliver training, and ensure compliance with local and federal guidelines while supporting project teams with proactive safety leadership.

The role requires a minimum three years of safety experience in construction or industrial settings, plus strong communication and data analysis skills. On-site work and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred for advanced safety duties.
• Minimum three years of safety experience in construction or industrial settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to train staff and lead meetings.
• Knowledge of safety laws, incident reporting, and program development.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental, safety, and health programs to prevent injuries and incidents.
• Plan and manage site safety audits, meetings, and training sessions.
• Collaborate with management to develop emergency action and incident response plans.
• Analyze safety data, track KPIs, and implement continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with clients and project teams on safety requirements.
