Job summary

Zobility is seeking a Safety Specialist to promote a safe and healthy work environment by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs, policies, and procedures across sites in Michigan. You will conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and identify hazards to prevent injuries.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Safety or related field and 2+ years of experience, working knowledge of OSHA regulations, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with MS

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in safety or related field or equivalent experience.
2+ years in workplace safety or EHS environments.
Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety management.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular inspections and safety audits to identify hazards.
Investigate incidents and near-misses, recommend corrective actions.
Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and programs.
Ensure compliance with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
Coordinate and deliver safety training for employees, contractors, and visitors.
Monitor safety performance metrics and prepare management reports.
