Job summary

Amazon Tempe is seeking a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs, conduct audits, and investigate incidents while promoting a proactive safety culture across operations. Required qualifications include a high school diploma or better, OSHA 1910 knowledge, and experience in EHS or a safety-related role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related field preferred.
• 1 year in an EHS-related role or 6 months at Amazon in safety.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations 29 CFR 1910.
• Proficiency with Word and Excel; confidentiality in sensitive matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments.
• Develop and deliver engaging safety training to associates.
• Partner with operations to drive a proactive safety culture and improvements.
