AimHire seeks a Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) Specialist to join our St. Louis site. You will oversee safety, health, and environmental performance with a focus on regulatory compliance, and partner with teams to improve practices and protect workers.

The role emphasizes hands-on control of environmental permits, data reporting, and training, enabling a culture of safe operations and continuous improvement in a manufacturing setting. Salary ranges up to $80,000 with experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years in health, safety, or environmental role within chemical, polymer, resin, or related industries preferred.
• Professional knowledge of Safety, Environmental Regulations, and Industrial Hygiene monitoring.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Applied Sciences, Engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Remain current with regulatory compliance requirements and issues.
• Audit RC14001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Maintain permits, compile site environmental data (air, water, waste), and file reports.
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to regulatory agencies.
• Conduct annual company-required and regulatory environmental testing.
• Provide SHE training to employees, suppliers, visitors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Collect and compile site safety and environmental statistics and report results.
• Train supervisors on safety and environmental regulations.

This is a Direct-Hire Position paying between $60,000-$80,000 depending on the level of experience.
