Job summary

Emerson in Mississippi is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join a teamwork‑driven environment dedicated to accurate picking, packing, and shipping. You will kit materials into boxes and other configurations while handling items in accordance with safety and quality standards to keep operations smooth.

Preferred candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, effective communication, basic math, and strong attention to detail.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience
• Effective communication skills
• Basic math skills, including counting and quantity verification
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific instructions
• Ability to meet department quality, attendance, and productivity requirements
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds; tools and equipment are available to assist with heavier items
• Ability to stand, squat, bend, lift, and lean for up to 8 hours per day

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship products accurately and efficiently
• Kit materials into boxes, cases, and other packaging configurations
• Handle, identify, and move materials in accordance with safety and quality standards
• Support daily warehouse operations, including housekeeping and organization
• Cross‑train and provide support in other departments as business needs require
• Performance additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor
