Job summary

Heniff Company is hiring a Tank Wash Technician in Hazel Crest, IL. The role involves cleaning hazardous, non-hazardous and food-grade tanker trailers, on-site remediation, and equipment decontamination.

You will operate pumps, compressors, boilers, and pressure washers while following strict health and safety policies. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least six months of industry experience; CSE and EPA/DOT knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Solid communication skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work with little supervision and be flexible to change.
• Strong customer service orientation and timely task completion.
• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clean tanker trailers and perform on-site remediation and de-contamination.
• Operate pumps, compressors, boilers and other equipment safely.
• Use PPE and follow health and safety regulations at all times.
• Assist in field sampling and meter calibration as needed.
• Report equipment issues to the Tank Wash Manager.
