Job summary

Heniff Transportation Systems, LLC in Joliet, IL seeks a Tank Wash Technician to clean hazardous, non-hazardous and food-grade tanker trailers and assist in on-site remediation and de-contamination. You will operate pumps, compressors, and pressure washers while adhering to safety policies and PPE protocols.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least six months of related experience; preferred CSE training, DOT/EPA waste-code knowledge, and ability to complete safety training

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Six or more months industry-related experience.
• Preferred: CSE training, DOT/EPA knowledge, cleaning chemicals familiarity.
• Ability to complete computer-based safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate pumps, compressors, boilers, bobcats and forklifts safely.
• Clean tanker trailers (hazardous, non-hazardous, food-grade).
• Assist in on-site remediation and de-contamination work.
• Wear PPE and follow health and safety policies.
• Notify supervisor of equipment issues promptly.
• Report to Tank Wash Manager and follow directions.
