Valley View Retirement Community is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to help keep residents, staff, and property safe. You will monitor security, perform light custodial and maintenance tasks, and assist staff and residents as needed in a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct building rounds to ensure doors are locked and security systems are functional.
• Monitor and investigate unusual observations and report as necessary.
• Complete door lock and security checklists to document rounds.
• Patrol Valley View Village and parking lots and assist as needed.
• Escort staff safely to their vehicles upon request.
• Open buildings for authorized entries.
• Perform light custodial tasks (sweeping, mopping, trash).
• Report accidents, incidents, or maintenance issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Make minor repairs or submit maintenance requests as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
