Job summary

Radius Recycling is seeking a Forklift Operator to safely operate a forklift and/or skid steer to move bins and materials in a busy recycling yard, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental standards.

The role requires commitment to high quality work, the ability to work outdoors in varying weather, and willingness to perform related duties such as yard cleanup and basic equipment maintenance. Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid Forklift and/or Skid Steer Certification, if required in the state or province you are applying to work.
• Experience operating equipment in an industrial setting to help move product and/or material.
• Must be at least 16 years of age for Canada and 18 years of age for USA.

Responsibilities

• Environmental and Health & Safety (H&S) — adheres to standards and provides a safe environment.
• Operational Performance — assist with cleaning, operate forklift/skid steer to move bins and equipment.
• Equipment & Maintenance — complete paperwork and report deficiencies.
• Special Projects — perform additional duties as needed.
