Job summary

Silgan Plastics in Seymour, IN is seeking a production operator to ensure safety, quality and efficient throughput in our manufacturing lines.

You will operate and troubleshoot blow molding equipment, assist with setup and changeovers, monitor process parameters, and support maintenance and quality teams to meet customer specifications. This role emphasizes teamwork and adherence to safety policies to sustain a reliable, high-quality production process.

Qualifications

• Promote a safe working environment.
• Understands and adheres to Silgan safety policies and procedures to prevent injury to self and co-workers.
• Produce finished goods that meet or exceed our customers' requirements and specifications, and produce these finished goods at optimum cycle times for efficient throughput.
• Acquire the skills and knowledge to efficiently operate, troubleshoot, repair and maintain the manufacturing equipment of Silgan Plastics.
• Provide labor for mold clean up, set up and minor preventative maintenance as directed by the Supervisor.

Responsibilities
