You will work to align daily operations with new model launches and the company’s safety targets, emphasizing data-driven decisions and continuous improvement. The role requires a strong background in engineering or occupational safety, advanced data analysis, and the ability to communicate across all organizational levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Occupational Safety and Health or ABET-certified program.
• 8+ years of safety experience or Honda manufacturing experience.
• Professional certifications in safety (e.g., CSP) preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills; able to work with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead plant safety themes and complex improvement projects.
• Manage daily operations of a safety team and mentor staff.
• Apply PDCA to reduce injuries and hazards and improve safety metrics.
• Interpret and apply Honda Safety Management manual and policies.
