Job summary

Qualifications

• Industrial Safety or a technical discipline is required.
• Minimum 3 years as Safety Coordinator or similar role enforcing safety standards.
• Experience delivering OSHA-compliant safety programs in manufacturing.
• Experience writing safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Plan health and safety programs and protocols.
• Train site personnel on safety and environmental procedures.
• Implement safety best practices and train affected personnel.
• Lead supervisors and leaders in health and safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and state regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and gather safety data.
• Verify adherence to safety protocols and review activities.
• Review LOTO procedures and stay current.
• Conduct bi-weekly safety meetings with the team.
• Coordinate with production to address unsafe acts or conditions.
• Collaborate with EHS personnel across the organization.
• Assist SPCC/SWPPP audits and sampling.
• Stop work when necessary; perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance to perform duties.
