Job summary

Rosehill Resources, Inc. seeks a Safety Engineer to understand and apply state and federal safety regulations, communicate implications to Operations, and collaborate with Operations to implement cost-effective compliance solutions at the Houston site.

You will engage with the workforce, develop safety training materials, and translate requirements into written procedures, while coordinating with agency inspectors and participating in safety associations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher level degree in Engineering or related Science is required.
• 2 Years Of Safety Experience Required.
• Experience representing a company to regulatory agencies is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cost-effective compliance solutions with Operations.
• Interacts with agency inspectors to discuss interpretations and requirements.
• Conduct OSHA compliance audits and safety field audits for assigned area.
• Hold signature authority to issue releases against standing purchasing orders at the discretion of the Site HSE Manager or above.
• Develop and deliver safety training materials for site employees.
