An established industry player is seeking a passionate Safety Engineer I to join their Wind Operating Group. This role is pivotal in implementing the Zero Injury Safety program, ensuring a safe work environment for all team members and visitors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of construction safety regulations. With a focus on proactive safety measures, you will conduct site audits, coordinate training, and foster a culture of safety across the project. Mortenson is currently seeking a passionate Safety Engineer I for our Wind Operating Group who can interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Safety Engineer will work to implement Mortenson’s Zero Injury Safety program at a project site and ensure a safe work environment for team members, subcontractors, and visitors to the construction work site.

**The base pay range for this role is $76,800 - $96,000. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
