Job summary

Veriipro is seeking a Safety Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to support and maintain safety programs within a heavy machine shop environment. You will ensure safe workplaces around forklifts, overhead cranes, robotic systems, CNC machines, and related manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor workplace safety policies and procedures.
  • Monitor forklift operations and shop-floor traffic safety.
  • Conduct risk assessments for forklift and pedestrian interaction zones.
  • Ensure safe operation of overhead cranes and lifting of large components.
  • Review lifting plans, rigging methods, load capacities, and accessories.
  • Support incident and near-miss investigations and CAPs.
  • Perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and risk assessments for critical ops.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections and audits across the shop.
  • Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve safety.

Safety Engineer - 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Safety engineer. The client is seeking a Safety Engineer to support and maintain safety programs within a Heavy Machine Shop environment. The role focuses on creating and maintaining a safe workplace for employees working around forklifts, overhead cranes, robotic systems, CNC machines, and other manufacturing equipment.
