Amsted Graphite Materials in West Virginia seeks a Safety Engineer to develop and improve workplace safety programs across our manufacturing facility. You will own day-to-day safety program execution, including inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, corrective actions, and training to meet OSHA requirements and company standards.

The Safety Engineer is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of workplace safety programs for the manufacturing facility. The Safety Engineer owns day-to-day safety program execution, including inspections, hazard assessments, incident investigations, corrective action tracking, safety training, and compliance activities to help ensure work practices, equipment, and facility conditions meet OSHA requirements and company safety standards. This role works closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, supervisors, and employees to identify risks, implement practical solutions, reduce exposure, and improve overall safety performance.
